Ms. Paige Turner has used wikis quite abit. She has set-up a wiki for her school library in order to send information to the students and teachers regarding library programs.
She has also used wikipedia for quick information but she doesn't encourage her young students to use the resource. There are so many good, reliable databases available for the students that wikipedia is not a resource the students use for research.
She created a page on the NT 23 wiki and found it easy to add pages and edit her information. She did not use wetpaint to create her school wiki so she found the wetpaint wiki slightly different in usage. Wikis allow one to include powerpoints, word documents, and files that cannot be included in the Blog.
