Thing 22 - Developing 23 Things for Ms. Turner's Library

Ms. Paige Turner was the only participant of this program from her school but she thinks that this program could be adapted to her staff at her school. There are many possibilities and she is hopeful. Perhaps introducing one technology skill per month/week might perk the interest of the staff. Because so many of the Things are ways to communicate, the teachers and staff may want to use some of the ideas Ms. Turner has experienced this summer to communicate with parents and students.

Ms. Turner plans to use many of the Things she has learned to promote programs and services of the library. When the staff and teachers of her school see the use of the Things in her blog and wiki, perhaps they will want to learn new methods of communication. Since Ms. Turner has "turned the page" on web 2.0, she can pass on the skills to her colleagues.
